The Liverpool Law School is one of the oldest law departments in the United Kingdom. In all of its activities, the Law School is inspired by the University of Liverpool’s commitment to be “world shaping, life changing”. The Law School's dedication to research excellence and a first class student experience are driven by the City of Liverpool’s long standing tradition of promoting equitable social reform, as well as the School's own identity as part of the School of Law and Social Justice.
In 2013/14, 260 students had the opportunity to work under supervision in the Liverpool Law Clinic, giving advice to members of the public.
In 2014/15, Winner of Best Contribution by a Team of Students, Hillsborough Team, University of Liverpool – The Law Works and Attorney General Pro Bono Awards.
